Quiet heroics –or– The heroes you never hear about

9/13/2004 Teacher Karen Christenson tore up a bible in class to bring home a central point of the often banned Fahrenheit 451 which her class was reading on assignment. She’s a hero. Anyone who has a problem with an innovative and intelligent teacher like her should get the fuck out of the way so the rest of the children can learn something.
