Re: Study of Cézanne’s “Study of the Ecorché,” 1985
do you ever do any drawing that is more free flowing ..your hand always looks restricted in everything that you have shown so far / when i have mentioned drawing before ,i was speaking of creative drawing ,of what one imagines ..

That’s basically an exact copy of the Cézanne sketch. You can direct feedback on it to the stone bearing his name at the Saint Pierre cemetery in Aix.

I’m sorta the opposite of Jesus. I’m gonna put all the sinners on the cross to save myself. Take a number.

Now that’s good sacrilege! –or– You can only go to Hell forever once
I have disavowed that film as well as the others in the series, JFC II: Rising of the Sodomites, JFC III: The Head of John the Baptist, JFC: IV: Pilate Washes His Hands, and JFC VI: My Virgin Mother.
I was very young and the producer misled me about the artistic vision and production values. Why even by the second film I was having second thoughts. I have back pain to this day from the 8 takes it took to film the Calvary scene.
