the book of embraces, chapter Aja

He wrote a lot of short stories about a really nice guy who had lost his daughter to a bogus custody case. They were some of his best and most real stories. It tore the guy up and he left the country that they took his daughter away. He stayed away for years and tried to kill himself and felt awful that he couldn’t manage to kill himself. But he finally thought he’d try to work it out and go home to get her back.

He wrote some of his best stories about it but he didn’t even have a daughter.
