Dear Ellie Light,

Why do you hate Afghanistanis so much?1

Warnest regards,

Vivian Five VI, New Mexico, Oregon, Milano, 경기도, Washington, Right Behind You.

1 Civilian deaths in Afghanistan in the first 10 months of 2009 numbered 2,038, up from 1,838 for the same period of 2008—an increase of 10.8 percent—according to the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, Civilian casualties of the War in Afghanistan.

Say… Didn’t we have a new president in 2009? Couldn’t he have saved all those lives—a good number of which were the lives of children—by signing a few pieces of paper. You know, instead of actually authorizing the killing of even more than before… Aw, fuck, I guess I’m just being naïve. After all Bin Laden is in Pakistan… …which is… …uh, close to Afghanistan. And heroin production is at an all time high in Afghanistan since we got involved. I guess it’s all for the best.
