Notes on the fuss about Cougars

Cougars are the equivalent of a theme park ride: expensive, showy, impressive to look at from a certain distance, and a thrill. They have the same caveats as theme park rides though. As fun as it might be if you’re still young enough to get excited about it, the lines are kind of long, they needs regular repairs to remain safe, they don’t actually go anywhere, and you’ll be pretty embarrassed if your friends catch you riding one.
Note to Cougars: the only way the young man can counter the embarrassment is to protest too much that it was the greatest ride of his life.
