OK Cupid documents a foolish inconsistency

I’ve considered writing the software for a free dating site a number of times. I’m lazy is all.

OK Cupid has one of the best, most interesting datasets at their disposal and are making super interesting use of it in reports on their blog. Here is the data for their users’ political leanings correlated to age. Their discussion on it—while conforming to conventional wisdom pretty well and delivered in a highly partisan fashion—is fascinating as well.

Political evolution over age.

Since I don’t have an OK Cupid account I put this together if anyone is interested in my plot, as it were–
