Atwood and Spolsky against old people

Maybe they just don’t know how to do date programming.

That’s okay, VBScript is a nice language.

VBScript is a nice language … for me to poop on.

Other interesting choices in the code I’ve noticed: 1) Entering any text in a comment form, then closing the window submits the comment without the need to click that pesky “Add Comment” button and 2) the act of navigating away from a page can redirect you to a prove-you’re-human captcha which includes easily typed text like |∑n and upon successful completion you are informed that you cannot submit the answer which you had never typed because it doesn’t exist.
