Why is this so when the site content is under regular copyright? Because otherwise your comment is your sole property and you could make the admin miserable with requests to retract, redact, or amend comments.
To prevent spam and abusive comments you must give a valid email address. After you comment, you will be sent a validation link. You comment will be held until you click it. You will be validated for more comments as long as you save your site cookie.
The tags you are allowed to use are listed with the form. Paragraph tags are automatically added with any double+ spacing.
Empty tags like <b></b> will be silently dropped. Disallowed tags and tag attributes will be silently dropped as well as meaningless or destructive repetition of tags.
Heading tags—h1, h2, h3—are allowed but will be translated to lesser equivalents—h4, h5, h6—to keep reasonable syntactic markup structure in the page.
